M Magazine Names Two of Our Attorneys Leading Lawyers of 2013

Two of our Milwaukee personal injury attorneys at Welcenbach Law Offices have had the honor of being named Leading Lawyers for 2013 by M Magazine. This means that the lawyers, Robert J. Welcenbach and Jeanne E. Bell, are considered as being among Milwaukee’s highest-ranking attorneys. Mr. Welcenbach was named a Leading Lawyer for the legal field of personal injury, while Ms. Bell was named a Leading Lawyer for the legal field of workers’ compensation. Only lawyers with only the highest levels of Avvo ratings in the Milwaukee area were given this distinction by M Magazine. The list was published in the July 2013 issue of the magazine.

Avvo, which is based in Seattle, is a company that profiles and rates attorneys through its website, www.avvo.com. In order to reach its ratings, Avvo’s proprietary algorithm is used to evaluate the attorneys on a 10-point scale, according to M Magazine’s explanation of the process. The legal professionals are evaluated in a number of different areas, which include education, training, experience, publishing, speaking, and awards. Peer endorsements also play a factor in the ratings. For Milwaukee lawyers, only those who ranked in the top 2-5% in each category were named Leading Lawyers by M Magazine. This is the second year in a row that the magazine created the list using Avvo ratings.

When looking at the Avvo ratings of Attorneys Welcenbach and Bell, it is no wonder why they were included in the list for top-tier Milwaukee lawyers—they each have a 10.0 “Superb” Avvo rating, which is the highest rating that the website offers. The Leading Lawyers distinction is a testament of the high level of professional excellence our attorneys are able to provide to our clients, who are injury victims seeking assistance in their efforts to obtain full compensation after being harmed by the recklessness and negligence of others. In addition to this recognition given by M Magazine, Attorneys Welcenbach and Bell have also both been selected for inclusion in the Wisconsin Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list (which goes to only 2.5% of lawyers in each state). Attorney Welcenbach has also been included in the National Trial Lawyers Association’s “Top 40 Under 40.”

Attorneys Welcenbach and Bell both received their law degrees from Marquette University Law School and additionally graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College®. They are both members of various professional organizations, with Ms. Bell also holding the positions of Board Member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and Chair-Elect of that association’s New Lawyers Section.
